Studio RIP is a Kuala Lumpur–based home studio devoted to slow, tactile making. Each piece is shaped and finished entirely by hand, embracing irregularity, weight, and subtle variation as part of the object’s life. Marks of process remain as evidence of the presence of the maker. Every work is one of one and made to order. Customization and collaboration are welcomed and encouraged. STUDIO RIP is anchored by three evolving categories: RELICS, IDOLS, and PROTOFORMS
IDOLS
IDOLS are made in direct response to an individual. These works are tailor-made upon request, ranging from wedding rings to finger-casted pieces and designs incorporating a client’s own gemstones or materials. Each IDOL carries the imprint of its wearer. Contact us to create yours.

PROTOFORMS
PROTOFORMS are investigations in progress. They include new technologies / forms, and one-off works that resist straightforward commercial release. Most prototypes are not reproduced. This allows us to test structure, stretch material behaviour, and explore ideas without the constraints of replication. VESSEL RIP
A handmade ceramic packaging is produced individually for each order. A STUDIO RIP mark will be imprinted on the underside of every vessel. Shape, size, glaze and finish will vary from piece to piece.
